Recently every time I dl anything the speed starts out good but within a minute it's down to 0b. I have no idea how to fix it - I've tried downgrading to 0.6.15

I'm very much open to suggestions - I'm on a mac tried switching to mountain lion - had no effect.

Thanks :)

EDIT: Spelling

What happens when you use NNTPgrab (available for Linux, OSX and Windows)?

Haven't used that before - trying it now and I can't seem to get it going - it keeps crashing on me unfortunately

I got it to work - it does the somewhat the same thing - it never gets going though.

SABNZBD starts off good then drops completely and every now and then it'll pick back up only to drop again.

You're both very sparse on details.
Which OSX version are you on?
Which SABnzbd version are you using (or did you try)?
Which Usenet provider?
Do you see any error messages?
What do you see on the Status page, Tab "Connections" (refresh after a few seconds)?

I am on Windows 7
SABnzbd version 0.7.3
Blocknews.net
No error messages... they never finish so I just delete them
Connections page:

Server: usnews.blocknews.net

Status: Enabled

# Connections: 0

(not downloading anything at the moment)

Did you try "Test server" in Config->Servers?
How many "connections" did you set there?
Is the server enabled?
