Check if folder exists before extracting and use the name of archief or place _2, _3, _4 etc to avoid problems.

For example; if you create a NZB with a serie/season of DVD's and the foldername is VIDEO_TS all the files are renamed (and unusable) after extracting.

Of course you can add them individual but for better overview its great to have them in the same folder. Its also easier to set or change the position or priority during download.

That's actually unrar's doing. We cannot control that behaviour (except pick an even worse behaviour: overwriting).
The best thing to do is to avoid combined NZBs.
It's also rather uncommon for posters not to add an additional folder level per DVD.
