Hi, I forgot my password and I can't seem to be able to login to the d/l manager, what can I do?

Well, first tell which Operating System you are using.
Our experience is that Windows users tend to forget that there are other operating systems
So for Windows:
Find the SABnzbd icon in the System tray and select the Troubleshoot->"Restart - no login" entry.

Well that's because there is only one true operating system! just kidding.

I tried it, worked, but if I wanted to make a new login, I have to remember my old login

Why is that? You have the escape route for local access.

BTW: username/password makes little sense for "localhost" access and is really
only meant for remote access.
