running latest official version of sabnzbd on ubuntu plus sickbeard and files get moved to a popcorn hour.
I've recently downloaded 3 thirty minute episodes from two different shows that all appear to stop about 12 minutes (well before the 22 minute length of the episodes. Any idea what's up with that, or how to prevent it?

That's definitely a case of bad posts.
Try to find a different release group.

Oh, how lame is that!? I'll have to see if Sickbeard can filter out bad ones, somehow. Unless of course Sabnzbd can stop it!

Actually something seems decisively wrong with my system. I have just found my seventh "broken" show in a row. It's happening with well-regarded groups and with NZB's with no negative comments, all popular shows. Nothing is downloading completely now. How do I troubleshoot this?
Okay, this is a total mess. I have no idea what to do.
Example: Sab reported success in getting Mad Men Season 1 and processing it with sabtosickbeard script. BUT:
Mad Men Season 1 remained in the Incomplete directory on the main partition of Ubuntu machine (not deleted when moved to Complete).
Mad Men Season 1 remained in the Complete/tv directory of the DATA partition of the Ubuntu machine (not deleted when moved Popcorn Hour).
Only one episode of Season 1 made it to my Popcorn Hour. The Popcorn Hour will only play about 15 minutes of the file and quit. Meanwhile, I can access the movie from my Mac and it plays just fine.
Madness. Help, please.

So it's not a SAB problem. Do you agree?
Your Ubuntu is downloading, isn't it? So, before moving it to your popcorn, can you play it completely on your Ubuntu?
If so, the problem is between Ubuntu and Popcorn. Maybe the move doesn't work? Have you checked filesize and md5 before and after the move? Probably better to use a copy instead of a move, so that you can still check afterwards.
