Not downloading

Hi all,
I'm new to SABnzbd and a former user of newsbin pro. I switched to SABnzbd because it could run on a home server as a server (see http://www.wegotserved.co.uk/wiki/index ... er#Newzbin).
I installed the program on the server and made all the configurations. I can approach the program from any of my clients, I can sent test email etc. It all seems to work fine.  Seems.
I have put several nzb's in the watched folder but they're not imported into the program. When I add them manually nothing seems to happen. There is no download queue and there's not 1 bit downloaded. According to the log, the nzb's are being added
I checked my server configuration, my folders and everything els. No SSL, no backup server etc.
I don't know what to check else and any help would be appreciated
Are there any special ports to be opened?

Are there any errors listed in the Connections page? How many connections have you set for your server?

Send us your log file and your sabnzbd.ini (with the passwords removed) to bugs@sabnzbd.org and we can take a further look.

Your ini and logs should be in "C:\Documents and Settings\Default User\Local Settings\Application Data\sabnzbd\" if you followed that tutorial.

No warnings at the connection tab only: news.tweaknews.nl:119: 0

You say you have "no backup server" and are using tweaknews, however the config file says you are using news.giganews.com and have backup server enabled.

You shouldn't have backup server enabled if you only have one server, untick that in config>servers

I don't see any giganews mentioned. There's only tweaknews ( line 66,67). The backup server is definitively unticked
I sent a screenshot of the server configuration. The ini file was from the default user. I also sent you the administrator's ini file.
Please explain where the giganews comes from. I don't even have an account there ???

Sorry I re-opened the ini from my temp folder, must have been another users ini.

Your watched folder is not listed correctly, should be:
E:\Usenet\nzb
instead of
E:Usenet\nzb

Try changing and restarting sabnzbd. Do the files you add manually actually enter the queue?

Manually added files do not enter the queue. In the cngif/folders tab it says E:\Usenet\nzb, while the default user's ini file says  E:Usenet\nzb. The administrators ini file says E:\Usenet\nzb.
I will copy the administrator's file to the default user's file and see what happens .

Just copied the inifiles. Both files say E:\Usenet\nzb; still not working after restarting SABnzbd. Adding nzb  manually doesn't make it enter the queue.

You mean entering the NZB from SABnzbd's main page does not work either?
In that case I suspect your NZB files.
Email one that doesn't enter the queue.

I tried several of them, none of them work, so I don't think it's the quality of the nzb.
I'll send you 2.

Can you try an nzb from another provider such as binsearch.info or tvnzb.com?
