I like SABnzbd to unpack files to an extranal harddisc.
ON the web I found I need to set it to ~/VOLUMES/ name of external drive
However when I do that my mac only adds a folder on my mac with that name / path but doesnot extract the files to the external drive.
In windows this was never a problem.
I assume there must be an easy solution but I cannot find it
Please help
To avoid the obvious
Yes the extrernal drive is OK because I can see the files on it and can copy files to it.
Yes the name of the drive is spelled properly
Yes I saved the settings and restarted SABnzbd, still no luck

Re: unpack to external harddisc on a mac
Never mind I found the answer
In SABnzbd click on Browse and go back as many steps as needed until you reach the main folder locater, there click on Volumes and then on the name of the external drive.
Confirm, save and restart SABnzbd.
In the end it still says /Volumes /name of harddisch but now it picks the external drive instead of adding a folder on my mac
