Downloads Automatically Pause, Won't Start

Hi, I'm running 0.6.14 on Windows 7 in Chrome. I'm trying to download from home and up until recently everything has been fine in terms of downloads. However, now, whenever I attempt to download anything, it automatically pauses in the queue and can't be started. The status says "waiting". I've restarted and repaired and forced disconnect and all the other things, so now I'm kind of out of ideas for how to fix whatever's up.

Any help? I really appreciate it.

Disk (almost) full?
Do you see any errors or warning?

No, not at all.

I have about 60GB free and I'm just downloading a >2000MB show, so I don't think it's a full disk or nearly full disk, unless the program usually hits a point where it will stop at about that amount of free space?

Thanks for your helping me, btw!

Take a look in the log file after it hits a pause again.
The log file is downloadable from the Status page (top menu).
Check the events at the end of the file.

I've been seeing the same behavior here. I'm running Ubuntu 12.04 and originally saw this issue with standard Ubuntu repo version of sab 0.6.15. I updated to the version available via ppa repo 0.7.3beta1 and still running into this issue. I have plenty of space in my tmp download dir and the final destination dir.

The issue is that sab would just seem to randomly stop downloading. Mine didn't say "Waiting" instead it said "Idle". Doing a Pause/Resume or even a complete restart didn't resolve the issue. I was able to restart it by doing a "Repair" under Status. The log doesn't seem to say anything interesting.
I noticed that the connections listed had threads for really old downloads. The thread count matched my connection count, but the number listed at the top showed 0. For example it said (ssl-us.astraweb.com:443: 0) instead of say (ssl-us.astraweb.com:443: 10) for 10 connections.

It seems to be working fine now after the Repair, but I'll keep an eye out for it to reappear. I've enabled debug logging now so hopefully that'll help if it does show up again.

For some reason there's a shutdown, possibly a restart to solve an internal problem.
Because you originally you started in paused mode (-p), so it will restart in paused mode too.
Without a lot more logging, there's not much I can say about this.

The log I tried to copy exceeded the character limit, so instead I just uploaded the entire .txt file to rapidshare, if you're willing to download it and take a look at it. 7/21/2012 is when I started having issues.

Happened to me again.
Here's what the status messages say:

The detailed log file doesn't have any additional information. It looks like the logging also stopped. I uploaded my log file here: http://pastebin.com/BhL4YbSh

The Status page also says the followingt:
There are orphaned jobs in the download folder.
You can choose to delete them (including files) or send them back to the queue.

If I choose the "Add" option I get the following python error:

Ok, scratch my last post. It looks like I had a filesystem/hard drive issue which caused the filesystem to get re-mounted as RO. Doesn't appear to be a sab issue.

I see you're still using release 0.6.14.
We're not supporting old releases, so it would be a good idea to upgrade to 0.7.2 or 0.7.3Beta1.
Other than that, there's nothing usable in the log.
Maybe a single startup like this will solve things:
WindowsKey-R and type:
"c:\Program Files (x86)\SABnzbd\SABnzbd.exe" --clean
This will clear the queue and most of the internal admin, except history.
Also, it's best not to start with the -p parameter, because that will make a recovery restart result in a pause.
Obviously a recovery restart itself is an indication of some problem.
Last check: is there an end-of-queue action set?

Since I don't know what an end-of-queue action set is, I don't think so -- and I'm not sure why it starts in -p parameter, since I haven't messed with any configurations by the time the issues started. I'll probably uninstall and then re-install the newest version, maybe it will fix itself.

Thanks for your time, shypike!

I am having a similar issue when i attempt to download anything it looks as though it stars but within 5 seconds it pauses the attempt and if i unpause it sometimes will get a few mbs further. I am running 0.7.3 on a windows 7 system and am subscribed to usenet the server test fine and i have attempted a repair and restart with no change. I get this warning even when using just a .nzb file with no third party software involved: "WARNING: API Key missing, please enter the api key from Config->General into your 3rd party program:" Can someone please help this is getting frustrating!!!
