newbie - trouble connecting

sorry to ask such basic questions but would appreciate any help. Trying to connect to giganews for first time: tried ports 8080 119 563 8090 8095 but no luck. I'm using win 7 home premium, 64 bit. I've listed Sab in the firewall exceptions, My ip is sky.
Any help appreciated.

For Giganews, use port 119 for normal traffic and 563 for encrypted (SSL),
Which server address do you use?

That's just wrong, You should read Giganews' support pages.
