I appear to be experiencing a weird issue with Supernews, anyone else having a similar issue?

Download state shows idle, yet the queue appears to downloading stuff. very odd.

0.7.2 on Win2008 R2. worked fine yesterday

Very likely that you hit a post that was taken down after a DMCA complaint.
The popup when you hover over the name will tell you how many articles are already missing.
When many (or all) articles are missing, a low speed will be shown.

It appears to be happening with all downloads over supernews, other servers work OK :/

Have you checked the server in Config->Server?
DMCA takedowns need to be done per provider.
Are you trying to get related downloads, like HBO material?

Ok so I have completely removed supernews, trying a different provider and getting the same issue.
Speed 3KB/s yet the progress bar is flying through on a 10GB download.

warnings logs shows nothing.

I'm guessing the none bit shows a DMCA takedown

"None" just means that an article is in SABnzbd's memory and not stored on disk.
So, unrelated.
If you think it's a SABnzbd problem, check with another program, like Grabit.
