Hello,

I have set the watched folder to be /volume1/newsgroups. When I add a .nzb file to this folder the following happens:
[*]It is compressed to a .nzb.gz file[/*]
[*]It is added to the download queue[/*]
[*]After some time it is then deleted and appears in the download queue a second time[/*]

My hardware is a Synology DS410j with DSM 4.0 installed.

You have an overlapping watched folder and NZB backup folder.
That's asking for trouble.
Check Config->Folders.
