Video file doesn't play on AC Ryan Playon

Hello,
I use SABnzbd Version: 0.6.9 on a DS212J NAS.
When I download movies from a newsserver I can't play them on my mediastreamer (ACR POHD2mini).
I found out that when I use sabnzb only to download the files, so I par and extract them manually, everything works well. But when I let sabnzb do this automatically after the download (+delete) the files won't play on the streamer.
How is this possible? The files look exactly the same (size is the same) both ways and they both play on a PC.
What am I missing here?

Access rights the same?

I guess access rights can't be the problem because as I said when I let sabnzb only download the file everything is ok. So it must be something in the post processing right? Like the checking/extracting or something?

"par and extract manually".
On the AC or on your PC?
Are you sure the par2 and unrar program of your AC are reliable?
SABnzbd depends fully on the quality of par2 and unrar, it does very little in that area.

With manually I mean from my PC. The files are still on the NAS but I par and unrar them then from the PC.
I think it has something to do with the clients Sabnzb uses to do the job when you use the full auto option.

It definitely has.
It's very likely that unrar fails.
You can check this by setting SABnzbd in +Repair mode, which means that it will verify/repair but not unpack.
If your PC based unrar produces working media files from this, it's proof that the unrar on the NAS is no good.
Please note that we produce neither par2 nor unrar.
SABnzbd just uses what's on the system.

I checked the +Repair mode and then the files still are ok. So it definitely has something to do with the unrar process.
I use the compression utils by developer Remco Schellekens (also the sabnzb+ app I use was made by him). In the install guide of that sabnzb pack was noted that I had to install that compression utils before installing the sabnzb pack. Does anyone know if it then is possible to just dissable this compression utils package and install a new one (any suggestions)? Or do I then also have to uninstall my sabnzb pack and install a new one?
