programs works but only login shows ...nothing else

the program starts on boot up ( win xp serv pk 2 ) , when i start the download by d/ling the nzb , it works fine . if i try to manage the download or the program by opening it in my firefox ( latest version ) all i get is a near blank screen w/a log in/password tab . i even went through my history to try and open it . ex. "
http://localhost:8080/sabnzbd/config/general/ " brings the same log in page , i log in and nothing . sometimes it will tell me the programs already been started . any thoughts ?

Sounds like firefox auto-filled in a username/password and you saved it by mistake. Check out:

the log in / pass is to my giga news account. if i remove that , will it still be able to use my account ?

Yes, those details should only be in the server part of the config.
if username and password are on their own, then clear the passwords like in the faq. Firefox may have filled in the details.
If you are talking about username and password in the servers section, such as:

[[news-europe.giganews.com:443]]
host = news-europe.giganews.com
port = 443
username = userhere
password = passhere
connections = 10
timeout = 120
fillserver = 0
then leave it.

thanks , i wil try that . i did check the faq first and saw the password section . i wasnt sure if clearing it would work , so i posted here .
* i looked in the ini and its the server pass/user that is listed like youve shown above .....should i unistall and try it again ?
