Sab starts in wrong browser

Sab starts in wrong browser

hi im using xbmcbuntu ive installed sabnzb but even though firefox is my default browser Sab still opens in chrome.

i wouldnt mind but when it opens in chrome i always get the ssl error and at some point i would like to try and get sab running automatically what i start up my htpc
but this wont be possible if i get the ssl error.

SABnzbd tells the operating system to open the default browser.
Sounds more like something in the OS.

ok thanks im using xbmcbuntu and chrome comes pre installed so is the default browser, ill try getting rid of chrome.

If that os uses the standard debian and ubuntu mechanisms, try sudo update-alternatives --config x-www-browser to set the default.

Same in Win XP. Would invoke the egregious IE that came with the system and which I never use, or an old version of Opera. Unfortunately, the old version of Opera did not display the top, menu bar of SABnzbd. It would not load the default browser, Opera 12.17. However, changing the default browser to Mozilla Firefox 35.0.1 did invoke that browser. Much ado about something that should be settable in a single line of an ini file.
