Hello,

I use sabnzbd since three yeras and until today I never have a problem. The last week, windows crashed and after install it and sabnzbd I can't run it. I have a blank page with this message :

SABnzbd.exe 0.6.15



SABnzbd needs a valid host address for its internal web server.
You have specified an invalid address.
Safe values are localhost and 0.0.0.0

Please restart SABnzbd with a proper host address.

Press Startkey+R and type the line (example):
"C:\Program Files\SABnzbd\SABnzbd.exe" --server localhost:8080


Program did not start!

When I go to c:\user\my_user\AppData\Local\Sabnzbd and I look the sabnzbd.ini, I have only :

__version__=19
[misc]
[logging]

I search on the forum, but I don't find an answer and I need your help please

Version: (Ex: 0.6.15)
OS: (Ex: Windows 7 Pro x86)
Install-type: (Ex: Windows Installer)
Skin (if applicable): (I love Plush)
Firewall Software: (I stop the window's service and I use Nod32 Antivirus)
Are you using IPV6? (No)
Is the issue reproducible? (I try a lot of install and I have always the same thing)

Is there no sabnzbd.ini.bak in the same folder?
It looks like your sabnzbd.ini got deleted and SABnzbd will initially create a new one
and run the Wizard again.
How do you start SABnzbd?

No in the folder I have an empty folder admin and one file sabnzbd.ini of 1 Ko.
I try to delete this file and running sabnzbd, but it create the same file ok 1 ko.
I try to install and delete sabnzbd but always the same thing.
I try also to install sabnzbd on other session and it's the same problem.
I start Sabnzbd with the shortcut on the desktop => no good way
I start with the exe in program => no good way
I start with win+R and " "C:\Program Files\SABnzbd\SABnzbd.exe" --server localhost:8080" => no good way
I start in cmd.exe => no good way.
I don't know where is the problem ...

Try this:
Win+R and: "C:\Program Files\SABnzbd\SABnzbd.exe" -f c:\usenet
where c:\usenet is a writeable folder.

EDIT:
Check whether there's a sabnzbd.ini file in c:\program files\SABnzbd
If so, remove it.

I was fed up, then I format and install again Windows 7 and now it's OK.....
I d'ont know where was the problem, but I like very much sabnzbd and I don't want trya anything else ...
