Setting up folders for MACBOOK Lion

Post by herbsta1 »

Hello Everyone,

I am new to this forum so not sure if i am posting in the right section.

I have just changed from Dell Windows Vista to a Macbook running Lion however i am having huge problems in setting up the Download Complete folder straight to my Bufalo NAS drive. I can mount my NAS drive and can find all the folder but just cant setup the folder for it?

I copy and paste the path for this folder that is stored on my NAS drive as Downloads/Complete however it will not download to this folder?

has anybody come across this problem and if so do you know how to setup a direct connection so that once my downloads have finished they will store dirtectly to mty NAS drive?

Thank you for any help on this guys.

Regards

Chris

For a NAS you need to set a full path. Look in your Volumes folder.
Such a path would be something like this:
/Volumes/nas/downloads
The "nas" part needs to be replaced with what it says on your system.
