hi i have been using this for quite sometime now have had a speed of 1.7 until recently i have been getting nothing at all i have this error message in the status tab under connections

Status: Enabled

# Connections: Failed to connect: (60, 'timed out') 45@ssl-eu.astraweb.com:443

I've tried all the other ssl severs and ports and it doesn't make a difference I'm running OSX Lion

any help would be greatly appreicated thanks

Try port 563.

Have tried port 563 does not make a difference to the speed it will kick in for about 2 mins downloading but at 200 kb then it drops out ?? Do you know what else can cause this ?

Try another NZB and put that one at the top.
Or use a plain connection instead of SSL.

the problem is in Sabnzbd, not my news group not my connection i have downloaded binreader and binreader downloads fine full connection just very basic haha,
