I wonder if someone could help me?

I seem to be having issues with this amazing client which I was only introduced to today. The problem is I load a nzb and it starts without fuss and my bandwidth meter confirms I'm going full speed 54.3Mbps etc but then about 20-30 seconds into it the speed starts dropping to 0 and I assume times out or just gets stuck.

I see nothing in log out but then I don't know what I'm looking for and the problem seems to fix itself if I "Force Disconnect" which would suggest a problem with the connection but then 30 seconds later same happens again. I've tried everything from reducing my connections and also ran other clients which don't have any problem staying connected.

Have I missed something?

I think your wireless router chokes.

Sorry should of mentioned connecting with cat6 network cable direct to router and other clients run fine but they just don't look and feel the same as sabnzbd

Anyway I don't wanna jinx anything but it appears to have fixed itself for now so lets hope it was just network related.

With you hw specs and a wired connection you should not
have any problem, bar traffic shaping by providers.
SABnzbd is not supported for Windows 8, although it may very well work.
Also it's useful to set an article cache in Config->General, 80M should do.
