I have sickbeard working fine and I have had couchpotato working fine before. However I reinstalled it and it doesnt seem to work anymore. The movies go to wanted and stay that way. I can see in the log that couch can find the movie but when it tries to send it to SABnzbd it cannot connect

Does anyone know why this might be happening. I've check the configuration and I can't seem to recognise a problem. !!

And SABnzbd is running?

yes it's definitly running it's downloading through sickbeard as i type this

anyone have any ideas. It does seem like an issue where couchpotato cannot connect to SABnzbd. The ip and apikey is definitly the same as Ihave set it up for sickbeard. Still not sure what's going on

If so, open your webbroser and fill out http://tower:8082/sabnzbd ... can you access it?

Yes it's for my server, I can access sabnzbd with that address. SABnzbd is open right now and sickbeard is feeding it shows to download so i know it works. I have a feeling one of the config settings is wrong but I've checked and I can't see anything that sticks out. Was hoping there might be a simple, common reason why this error happens but I guess not :S

Exactly what setting do you have in Config > Downloaders > Host?
Note that it needs to be: host:port or ip:port and not http://host:port

Edit: source code shows that actually doesn't matter anymore.

Anyways, you're using a netbios name, unless you're actually running a WINS server I would not suggest using it.
Not every wrapper respects the system's preferred name lookup order. Especially the newest ones tend to forget about WINS and go straight to DNS.
(and thats a good thing, lets all just move on)

The easiest way to check if this is the case is to change your netbios name into a real ip.

Yes, but are u accessing it on port 8082 throught he webbrowser? 8082 is the default CouchPotato port, sabnzb would typically be on 8080 unless you have changed all that...
Shouldn't it be: http://tower:8080/sabnzbd rather than http://tower:8082/sabnzbd ?

I am running into the same issue. Just setup SABnzbd, couchpotato, and sick beard. Sick Beard and SAB talk just fine, but couchpotato does not:

remove /sabnzbd from the end of https://xxx.xxx.xxx:9090/sabnzbd

couchpotato is adding it for some reason so it looks like this https://xxx.xxx.xxx:9090/sabnzbd/sabnzbd in the log
