Is there a windows tool that can convert a large NZB file of all the headers in one group into smaller seperate NZB files using the names of the files inside?

IE:

All files inside the NZB named Linux1 get put in linux1.nzb and all files names linux2 get put in linux2.nzb and so on and so on.?

Thanks

Why do you want to do this?
Were the files uploaded separately by the poster?

Anyway, this is what I would do:
Open the .NZB with a text editor (windows: notepad), and find a subject line. (Or: open the .NZB in SABnzbd, and click on the details to see the subject)
Go to binsearch.info, and use the first, relevant part of the subject line to find the post (not including the last part with the file name stuff like par, rar, r001, etc)
Then click on "collection", and you will see all the files in the .NZB. Select the files you want, and Create the NZB

Example: http://binsearch.info/?b=ubuntu-10.04.3 ... 29&max=250

Say for example there was a group called " alt.bin.naughty.freelinux.classics " ;D and there was over 50,000 headers and you wanted everything in that group you may not want everything dumped into a single folder as it would be as one large NZB.

Seperating them manually through NZB search would take to long. :)

Aha. So your question is "How can I download everything in a newsgroup, and/but put it into seperate folders?"?

How about using a RSS feed for that? Just use a wild card *, and thus download everything piece by piece automatically?

So, for example: http://www.nzbindex.nl/rss/alt.binaries.multimedia/ into your RSS feed in SABnzbd, and Accept * ...

LOL , just shows i have spent way to many years using newsbin and only just started using sabnzbd as i had absolutley no idea a newsreader could use RSS feeds. ;D

Will RSS feeds go all the way back to 1345 days retention so i can get everything from astraweb?

You sir are a gent with your help because if this will work i'm pretty close to being a fulltime sabnzbd convert and user.I'm glad you unsterstood what i was trying to do as i'm rubbish at explaining myself and often get ignored :)

Thanks

Ah, so you want to Download the Whole Internet (R) ;-)

I would first start by doing your first downloads. It will start with 250 downloads. I don't know how big your 'naughty linux' images are, so check the result with 250 downloads, and how your harddisk holds.

Next step: look at the RSS URL like http://www.nzbindex.nl/rss/alt.binaries ... 250&more=1 and imagine how you can play with that ...

BAH! :( only goes back 900 days so i will lose over a year by RSS feed.

Maybe i should write a email of complaint to nzbindex.nl that they are forcing me back to newsbin. :P
