noob needing some help: SABnzbd on Buffalo Linkstation

hello all, bit of a noob here so dont flame!

recently bought a nas server and got my media on there, currently i just stream via wdtv but obviously when i want new media i have to fire up the pc and download it.
so basically ive seen alot of posts about how people use sabnzbd on their nas and also use sickbeard for automination. Problem is im no good with anything thats not windows or with ip's or anything network related.

i look at a guide on how to do it but i got lost very quick, so if someone can give me a really noob/detailed guide on how to at least setup sabnzdb on my nas (buffalo linkstation) that would be much appreicated as im getting no where and just confused and lost with the more guides/posts i read.

I've changed the subject for you into something more meaningful.

If you don't say what you've tried, what succeeded and what not, it's hard to help. Without your information, helping would then become like a game of MasterMind: "have you done X?" "Yeah, I've already done that". "Did it work? "No". Etcetera ;-(

So tell us what instruction you used (mayb http://buffalo.nas-central.org/index.php/Sabnzbdplus), and what happened...

ive read that guide but dont understand it, i have to get new firmware for the nas? and im assuming python is something with linux?
like i said, noob with all this stuff really, so even basic help is a great start!

Again you don't say what you have done (apart from reading).

The first command in the instruction: "ipkg update" ... have you done that?
