Noob: Not all movie files seem to be processing correctly

I am very new to Sab and the use of NZB files in general. With the help of a friend we set it up on my PC. Unfortunately he is no longer available to help with my fine tuning once I had it in action. I am currently running Couchpotato for movies and SIckbeard for TV. I have NZBMatriz as my news source. All my movies/TV shows seem to be fetch/snatched properly and then they eventually download. What I do not understand is the processing and the moving of my movie files.

All my TV seem to work fine but with movies it has been very hit or miss. What happens is I have my finished/processed files moved to my Movie folder. Since I use MediaBrowser plugin for Windows Media Center all I need is for the files to be names a specific way and dropped in their proper folder. Well all that seems fine but I'd say more than half maybe even 3/4 of my movies all I am left with is a "File". What I mean is where it drops it in my Movies folder it has a Blank File that sometimes is a few GB's and sometimes only a few KB's. Then other times there will be a movie waiting for me just as it should be.

Is this just the sign of a failed download. I have even tried manually adding my NZB files that I found from a search on NZBMatrix to Sabnzbd and then downloading them but it still does the same thing.

Do I have something set wrong. With 3 programs all working in conjunction with each other I am not sure if I have it all set correctly.

Thank you in advance.

Don't know, I was hoping someone could tell me. I am thinking maybe it is what is left over after it Unrars what is a iso file. Literally, it says "File" and when you go to properties it does not give the type it says "File"

What happens if you rename it to something sensible?
Does it then become usable?

I believe I tried renaming a .iso and it didn't work. I will try again and report back.

Here is what the files appear as in Explorer. SAB seems to be moving/renaming them to the way I need them for MediaBrowser to do the rest, but this particular file is only a few KB's as seen in the 2nd pic. As stated earlier it isn't always only a few KG's sometimes it is a few GB's. Or sometimes it all works fines and my .MKV or .AVI movie file will be in the correct "Movies" folder and will work fine. Then others it does this. ???

Do I have something not configured correctly in SAB post-processing? Is this just a bad file?

You combine a bunch of programs that you don't have full understanding of yet.
Try it step by step.
First feed an NZB to SABnzbd and see what it makes of that.
So don't use the other programs.

I have done it that way by adding it to SAB manually. I think the issues are somewhere in the post-processing. I did put a .mkv extension on one of my files that was several GB's and it worked fine. But this still doesn't explain when some are only a few KB's. I can only assume they were dead/bad files.

Last night before bed I loaded Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close in couch potato. I wake up to fine it says it successfully snatch/downloaded it. Then I check my movie folder and it is there but the file is only 487KB, It did have a .mkv extension only because I forced it to add it in Couchpotato. I will add the back up manually and let it ride for before work and see what happens.

In Couchpotato I didn't have my "Renaming" set to add an extension so I think that's where the problem was. I could have it add .mkv but some files are .avi. I guess I will have to just manually do this.

EDIT: The Extremely Loud ..... movie I had set to "U" in processing. It didn't manually extract the movie or move it. I did and now it's fine. So this issues is during the extract/process/move that this happens. The file I downloaded was fine.
