Completed sorting

I have a long retention server and short retention unlimited server. To complicate thing further I tend to run out of space, so I have to to juggle the posts around. Once a post can't download any more from the short retention server, I normally move it to the top of the queue.

Any chance that sab can move the posts that aren't being dl anymore to the top of the queue. The idea would be to use the default sorting, and have this as an option to keep the almost completed posts to the top. This would allow to use the short retention server for the most part, and then have the other server keep the work in progress as short as possible. This way prevents using all the hd space for uncompleted downloads.

If you set the options "Only get articles for top of the queue" and "Sort by age" both on, this should take care of your problem.
This way only one job a at a time will be downloaded and the oldest one will be done first.

Actually those are my current settings. However (thanks to the olympics again) I have a large queue of old files (older than my short retention server has), so I am getting a large number of unfinished posts in the middle of the queue. This leads to running out of space without having any finished file to show for.

What happens is that yottanews  (short retention server) doesn't have all the segments for most posts, and it only has a 3-5 day retention. However my other server has a very long retention and almost 100% completion of files. So when yotta can't contribute any further to the post, the file just waits for the other server to complete it. The trouble is that currently I have about 20 old files, and sab isn't getting to the halfway completed files before I run out of space. So I have to move the files around in order not to run out of space.

I know the solution could be to get a better server (which I am looking for), but most I can't afford. Yotta is only 10 / month for unlimited, the other one has my email accounts and is about 6 / month.
