I have set SABNZBD to use my nas server (via mapped network drive in windows) to save the temporary and completed files.
When starting sabnzbd it cannot create the folders, although the folders are already created.
Does anyone know how to allow writing to network drivers on Qnap nas from a windows machine? Thought this was fine since I can create folders and delete items from the windows exploroer on this drive.

Re: Cannot create temp or complete folders
NAS drives deliver Windows shares, so they depend on correct access rights.
BTW, we strongly advise against putting the temporary folder on the NAS.
It will destroy your performance.

Re: Cannot create temp or complete folders
Ok I will put on my main pc hard drive. But then how do I get SABNZBD to automatically delete completed TV Series out of the completed folder? I have Sickbeard which will move and rename the TV series for me. It still leaves the original in the completed section and that chews up Gigs of HDD space.
Re: Cannot create temp or complete folders
There's no problem putting the "completed download folder" on the NAS.
Just not the "temporary download folder".
Isn't it SickBeard's task to remove files after copying/moving them from "complete"?
