SABnzbd Forums

Hi,
I recently switched from Newzbin to NZBMatrix because sabnzbd wouldn't grab bookmarks from there. And now after switching to NZBMatrix I realize that sabnzbd doesn't grab bookmarks from there either! Just a month ago or so everything worked fine with grabbing bookmarks from Newzbin, and suddently one day it just stopped working. :/
All entries in settings are filled correctly, fresh API key and username, still no luck. I haven't updated or reinstalled sabnzbd, so how can it just stop working..?
Any pointers, anyone?
Btw, my sabnzbd version is 0.6.8

How about upgrading first?
We're at 0.6.15 now.
BTW: for nzbmatrix you need to setup an RSS feed for the bookmarks.

I run ubuntu server, and the latest sabnzbd isn't in the repositories.
I don't know if I can update manually, is that an option?

No I don't. Is that mandatory?

Edit: I upgraded to the latest version, and now it grabs bookmarks from Newzbin, but still nothing from NZBMatrix.

YES!
An RSS feed is the only way that nzbmatrix makes its bookmarks available.

Oh.. never seen anything about that anywhere, but ok! How do I do that..?

It's somewhere in your nzbmatrix user profile.

Yeah I found it, added the RSS feed in sabnzbd. The feed works, but when I try to grab bookmarks, I get nothing.. what am I doing wrong?

edit: I think I got it hehe. Instead of bookmarking stuff at NZBMatrix I just queue them, and then read the feed in sabnzbd. Works anyway

"bookmarks" only applies to newzbin.
nzbmatrix's bookmarks are just another RSS feed for SABnzbd.
That's the way nzbmatrix implemented it and not our choice.

Damn, it's not working properly. The feed doesnt update when I queue stuff.. anyone knows why this is?

Not sure what you mean.
Do you expect entries to disappear from the RSS feed after they entered the SABnzbd queue?
If so, this will only happen when the item has been downloaded and post-processed successfully.

No not really.. It's acting strange. When the bookmarks are cleared and I've waited for the RSS-feed to clear, then I can add something to bookmarks and the feed updates. Up to this point everything is working fine. But then after adding another bookmark the RSS-feed doesnt update, and therefor nothing queues in sabnzbd.. :/
It's like NZBMatrix doesnt update the bookmarks RSS-feed very often or something..

So I'm the only one who has an issue with this? (I realize you can't answer that, but you seem to know alot about this)
