I am running windows xp ,and as you can see have 0.6.14 installed. I installed a (750) hard drive into my computer ,and would like to know how to get SAB,to go to my (d) drive ,it shows over 690 g of free space, I want to use my D drive as my main SAB holder,..Now the bad part , I am 69 ys old,can get around the computer good but not to good. If someone could help me with a step by step instruction on what to do to change every thing. I would be Thankful,I sure would like to have the instruction PM,to me so I can print them out, I can't recall all of the instructions with out reading them over and over, and going back and forth to the screen is H--l.

I am so sorry and fell so dumb, that I need all of this Help. But i still and always will want to use SAB..Thank You pigme128 :)

I assume the new drive is formatted and that you can copy files to it?

Open SABnzbd's web interface.
Make sure your download queue is empty.
Go to Config, Folders.
Find the entry box for "Temporary Download folder" and type:
d:\incomplete
Find the entry box for "Completed Download Folder" and type:
d:\complete
Then click on save.
Now your downloads will end up on the D: drive in the folder "complete".

??? I have a stupid question? On the Temporary and Completed folder, what do I do with all of the words in between,d:incomplete, and d: complete?
Such as mine say as of now ,C:\documents and settings\My name\desktop\movies/downloads\incomplete .For the Temporary download folder.
As for the Completed download folder // C:\documents and settings\my name\Desktop\movies/downloads\complete

Now what do you do for the Watched Folder? Mine says =C:\doc & settings\my name\Desktop\movies. One more,, When you open SAB on the Config Page
I have Sabnzbd Version 0.6.14
Uptime , Then next to config file\ C:documents and settings\my name\local settings\application data\Sabnzbd\sabnzbd-ini
What do I do with all of this stuff.so I can open my movies in my folder on my Desktop??
I hope you understand what I am asking you, :(

Thank You !!

What "words in between"?
You need to type d:\incomplete and d:\complete in the boxes, including the backslash characters.

Your disk drive is nearly full and everything on the desktop is on this C drive.
So you cannot store any more downloaded data on the desktop.
Use the Windows Explorer to find downloaded files on D.
The folders other than "temporary download" and "completed download"
use hardly use any storage on C, leave them where they are.

Do I just Delete everything ? and just have =d:incomplete, and d:complete in them Two folders??
Sorry for being so stupid, but like I said it takes me time to grasp what is to be done.My fear is
I will lose everything and not have Sabnzbd at all.

Thanking You

Changing the two folder settings will have no
effect on your current files.
