Since you don't give very much info (understandably, because you don't know what to look for)
and we cannot look at your system, it's going to be tough to help.
If it's not a simple case of disabled servers or out-of-retention it's hard to see what the cause could be.
Have you tried other NZB files?

Hi,
I just remembered that I had recently upgraded to 0.6.10 and so tried downgrading to 0.6.9 after deleting my application support folder. NZBs are now downloading bak at their usual lightning fast speed and URL fetching works fine. That was what fixed it for me, in case anyone else was having similar problems. (Do I need to mark the thread as resolved?)

Thanks everyone for your help,
Declan.

It's not resolved.
Could you upgrade to 0.6.10 again?
I would like to know if it's 0.6.10 itself of an unfortunate incident of a fatally corrupted admin.

Thanks,

I myself would do this:
Make only one newsserver defined with only 3 connections. See if that helps
Reboot your system, start SABnzbd, and see if it works.
If not, reboot your system, do not start SABnzbd, and run SABnzbd from the command line with output to the commandline: on Windows, start "sabnzbd-console.exe", on Linux, start "SABnzbd.py" from the commandline. Hopefully SAB will show output on the CLI.
And if all that doesn't work, stop SABnzbd, rename sabnzbd.ini to sabnzb.ini.old, and start SABnzbd, and follow the wizard

Sorry, I forgot about this thread. Upgrading to the newest SABnzbd+ worked fine,

Thanks for your support,
