I updated the file with Lang FR accents. Maybe the problem characters are generated because the file encoding Lang.

Unfortunaltely, my pb is still occuring.
To give little more infos on my environnement, i'm using
winf*dows 7 ultilmate in french version.
Firefox 3.5.7
Sabnzbd 0.4.11
and your plugin 1.0.13.
just dl your patch, stop firefox, install patch and restart firefox...

translation for french accents is still not supported.
I'm wondreing if your code is really in cause. Is ther a way to specify in you app that text must be used in utf8 french language? Perhaps it depends of Sabnzbd of firefox or OS?
What do you think about?

another info, when i add directly a nzb file from my pc to sabnzbd, french accents are ok...

I figure that sabnzbd api don't support lang parameter..
