The ports were bound wrongly since SAB 1.0.0 for HTTPS (also bound HTTP incorrectly), we fixed that now.
Does it work if you leave the host empty? Then it will try to bind to the actual IP.

i set host total blank and it start like it should! Perfekt!
But my install Version i have from PPA is not starting. it make the host again to 0.0.0.0. doesn't metter what i set.

OK now i got it!

i changed the /etc/default/sabnzbdplus
from HOST=0.0.0.0 to Host=

Now it works again Perfectly.
THANKS for the Support! I will test some more if you want, but i thing that is an Solution that is ok. Should came to the wiki

May it works with the satic ip or hostname also.

I hope JCFP or Sander can maybe give some insights why it's going wrong. I tried your host settings on my Ubuntu, but it works fine. Probably it's a small difference in setup..
Great it worked!

For now we'll have to keep this in mind in case others report problems.

127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.1.1 <host_name>

The IP address 127.0.1.1 in the second line of this example may not be found on some other Unix-like systems. The Debian Installer creates this entry for a system without a permanent IP address as a workaround for some software (e.g., GNOME) as documented in the bug #719621.

The <host_name> matches the hostname defined in the "/etc/hostname".

The OP has something different:

127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.1.1 localhost

So no real host_name. I tried on my Ubuntu if that was the cause, but I can't reproduce the SAB problem. However, @OP: what is your /etc/hostname, and can you put that name in the 127.0.1.1 line in /etc/hosts, and then try to reproduce the SAB problem?

I have set the hosts file to 127.0.1.1 <host_name> (yes i put the real host name in there

) and ist startet with the HOST=0.0.0.0 config like is should.

i was starting is over the service and it works. Than i shut it down.

FYI i was set the host file to localhost to make it faster. This will react direct to the host and not try to DNS resolve. This will make it faster on the MongoDB.

But in my case it seams to be the Problem.
