I too would greatly appreciate having the necessary means to access the IRC channel.

Edit: The channel topic in #tvbinz has been changed to "'Sorry folks, this channel is not associated with #tvnzb -- those inside don't have pemission to spread the key. Try tvnzb.com -- at least it's public and works.'"

I don't understand what is happening.

Apparently I need a key to enter the #tvnzb channel on efnet. This is what's frustrating.

Really? Weird, i have been going in and out of it with impunity over the last 48 hours.

I enter /join #tvnzb

The response is "#tvnzb unable to join channel (need correct key)"

I'm not a frequent user of IRC. Am I doing something wrong? Do I have to join through a particular server or will any efnet server do?

I feel very frustrated...

EDIT: Anyway, I cannot get the #tvnzb channel listed on efnet. Isn't that odd?

I'm also trying to get into the channel. Yesterday I was in but didn't meet an op, so I couldn't ask for a login.

I'd appreciate it, if anyone could pm me the key.

The site was not hacked . They just decided to make it a private site now. I have friends that are already members and they are allowed to give the key out to other friends. Once you get a key, join the channel and type !signup. Follow the instructions(after you ask for a +v).

I will give a key out to the first few people that PM me just to get a few new members invited. Should you receive a key, please do not give it out further unless they are friends. Thanks, Don't spam my inbox please, One PM asking nicely for a key, if you don't get a response, Sorry I already gave out the keys.

I figured out the key, but I'm not sure how to request +v .. do i just ask in the channel 'please grant me voice'?
