[resolved] Cannot create final folder

Hello everyone,

I have this weird issue sometimes. It returns a postprocessing error, even though most of the time it works. The strange part is that, after hitting Retry, it then unpacks everything properly. Anyone would have an idea as to what would be the issue during the first postprocessing?

Are you using an external disk OR a network share?
Those can be slow to start up.

No, I use a server but the folder itself is local, no UNC path or nothing like that, everything runs on the same machine.

So, I found out that it's trying to create the folder with an illegal character (:) what I can't explain though, is why it does that and why the retry actually doesn't?
I found the option to replace illegal characters though, so hopefully it won't do it again

You are using Sorting?

I am, without it I would get those weird names (b00bs, etc) And I just tried one movie with the option enabled, and it still seems to ignore it until I hit retry

Edit: Yes it's definitely ignoring the option at first, it tries to create a folder and a name that ignores the Sorting and the illegal character option

First: make sure you are using 0.7.20
Possibly the bad character is in meta-data sent by the indexer.
To test this: disable the option Config->Special->enable_meta

It seems to have done the trick, I redownloaded a file that wasn't working previously and it worked this time. Thanks you so much for the help!

Are you using 0.7.20? Was that the solution or was it changing the setting?
If so, that would mean there is still a bug in handling of :
It should have been removed in 0.7.20

I tried with the option enabled again and it does seem that the issue is not present on 7.20.
