Hi,
I have installed SABnzbd according to the youtube video by DAVE, on a synology server, in that video he claims that some directories and files are created in the 'download' file which are needed and adjusted for sickbeard to use (also for SABnzbd) in de second video he expains which these files are, however on my serverd download directories no such folders and files are created. I have lifted any restrictions on that folder and everybody has full access, but nothing happens (also not after reinstallation). Even if try to find a film on sick beard, it tells me that i should create a parent directory it tells me that it cannot do so, so it boils down to some privileges, but what are those,
any suggestions,

Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.
We will probably ask you to do a test using only basic settings. - Do you experience problems during repair or unpacking?
Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.
Re: no folders created on installation
You may need to ask the movie's author, since I know nothing of Synology.
