SabnzbD keeps Pausing

I was actually running 0.7.17. I upgraded to 0.7.18 and everything still seems to be running good. Thanks for all your help.

I never found out what the problem is.
A more accurate description is needed.

This one keeps pausing reliably.

I had the exact same problem over the last couple days. I'm on v0.7.20, running on a Windows 7 x64 machine, and my downloads/queue kept pausing. I tried restarting SABZNZBD, restarted the PC, etc with no fix. I then found these forum posts, and apparently the fix.

I tried shortening the max folder length to 40, and the continuous pausing stopped. However, the extraction of files seemed to fail then. So, I tried the other suggestion about moving the temporary download folder to the Root of C:, and reverted the max folder length to the default of 128. Everything seems to be running smoothly now...

Silly thing is, I'm downloading My Little Pony for my girlfriend's daughter, and this problem specifically kept happening on this file: 'My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic S04E23 Inspiration Manifestation 1080P HDTV x264 DD5 1-thebib62'... LOL!

PS: I registered on the forum just to give a shout out to you guys for the fix...

The paths are just too long.
We cannot solve this before 0.8.0 comes out (test versions by the end of the year),

Hi, everyone! Sab has been consistently paused since about the 6th or the 7th. The only time it will complete a download is if I change the priority to force, otherwise everything that is automatically pulled from nzbdrone never downloads. I've read through this thread and tried the options suggested (changing from 128 to 40, created a sabnzbd folder on my C drive for temp files) and I am still not getting anywhere. The title at the top of my Sab window says paused, and all of the files are in the status of waiting.

I am, unfortunately, pretty sabnzbd illiterate, but am somewhat computer savvy, so if someone can tell me how to fix this in a clear way, I should be able to handle it.

Please! And thank you in advance. And my brother thanks you, too. He is beyond sick of coming over to fix this problem. It has happened many times before, but never for this long.

If you enable debug logging on the Status page,
you should be able to see the reason for pausing in the log file.
When a pause occurs again, you should download the file from the Status page
and read backwards from the end of the file.
The reason should be logged.
