on mac download stops

yesterdat i got a mackbook with latest os yosemite and when trying to download some nzb files it stops after 1 gb download, i an 90% sure that the setting is the same as on my WINDOWS 8 is there a problem here ??

Stop in which sense?
Does it pause? Do the servers keep timing out?

it get paused, password protected rar files, i can't get the path to the password file, dont know how to get it in Mac, on windows it worked just fine

You need to enter a full path to the path.
Assuming its in your home folder and your user-id is "me",
then the path would be /Users/me/passwords.txt
Otherwise click on the job title in the queue and enter the password in the appropriate box.

can't get it to work, tryout your guide, and your last tip, i dont know were to restart a job can't find were to start one more time

think i found the error it was in settings, have downloaded the file, it is trying to unpack this moment so will se if the passwords is correct.
funny thing, have one password i the text file and can see that it is trying many different passwords to unpack with but not the one in the text file, will try again in the morning

i must sound like a total newbe, i am that with mac, but were it the download folder on a mac ? i settings i can se were the files are downloaded to, but when i go in user/myname/ there is no download folder, i am total blank on mac, is it a hidden folder ? and if yes how so se it ?

There should be a Downloads link at the left side of the Finder.

i give up, it is not possible to get the link to the password file to work, think i will se if there is a different program that is easy to use, but thanks for the answers
