problems on adding nzb links from nzbclub

Post by Daimonion »

Hi

Actually i have a problem when i want to add nzb download links to my sabnzbd (0.7.20) from nzbclub.com.

It doesn't matter if the link comes via sabconnect++ or via direct url from sabs webpage.

The log tells me two different things:

Code: Select all

2014-12-08 22:16:25,911::INFO::[urlgrabber:116] Grabbing URL http://www.nzbclub.com/nzb_get/40426007/usenet_4all_info_Password_powered_by_ssl_news_6kGH 2T5zMaRLweGLeGTt.nzb
2014-12-08 22:16:26,407:: DEBUG::[growler:193] Cannot register with Growl (10061, 'Connection refused')
2014-12-08 22:16:26,536::INFO::[nzbstuff:672] Replacing dots with spaces in 6kGH2T5zMaRLweGLeGTt

and a second try shows me this:

Code: Select all

2014-12-08 22:37:08,298::INFO::[urlgrabber:116] Grabbing URL http://www.nzbclub.com/nzb_get/40443957/CcRRV0fiwKVp3heM9ttsPYvub.nzb

What can be wrong here?
If i download the nzbs manually everything is okay, and format inside this nzb is okay, too. Try it. ;)

Thanks in advance!

Usually getting files from indexer requires a special URL that contains user credentials.
Check your indexer's documentation pages.
The indexers now sends you some HTML page telling you that you need to login, instead of the NZB.

I don't think it's necessarily a good idea to post links to actual NZBs. Just my two cents.

Shypike, nzbclub is public like binsearch, so there are no user credentials. Try the link and it should work.

But, FWIW, I tried it, and it worked for me just fine. I don't know why it didn't work for you though, so I'll leave it to someone else to figure out how help you :)

jep, i thought about it and decided to let the links inside this log, because they are encrypted. If it's not okay, i can delete it of course.

Maybe i can activate an extended log so that sab can say me what he is downloading?

FWIW:

The nzbclub RSS URL http://nzbclub.com/nzbfeeds.aspx?ig=2&g ... &st=1&ns=1 (technically) works for me:

Code: Select all

2014-12-09 00:13:29,916::DEBUG::[rss:332] Running feedparser on http://nzbclub.com/nzbfeeds.aspx?ig=2&gid=4149&st=1&ns=1
2014-12-09 00:13:31,286::DEBUG::[rss:334] Done parsing http://nzbclub.com/nzbfeeds.aspx?ig=2&gid=4149&st=1&ns=1
2014-12-09 00:14:31,662::INFO::[__init__:513] Fetching http://nzbclub.com/nzb_get/40447350/scnzb%20efnet%20533296%20Some%20Girls%20S03E04%20720p%20HDTV%20x264%20TLA.nzb
2014-12-09 00:14:32,166::INFO::[urlgrabber:116] Grabbing URL http://nzbclub.com/nzb_get/40447350/scnzb%20efnet%20533296%20Some%20Girls%20S03E04%20720p%20HDTV%20x264%20TLA.nzb
I say "technically" because the actual download of the post itself fails.

So. News

I downloaded the sources of sabnzbd and get it to work. On line 722 of nzbstuff.py i inserted two lines of code which saves me the nzb file in case of an excpetion to the disk:

Code: Select all

            try:
                parser.parse(inpsrc)
            except xml.sax.SAXParseException, err:
                self.incomplete = True
                if '</nzb>' not in nzb:
                    logging.warning(Ta('Incomplete NZB file %s'), filename)
                else:
                    logging.warning(Ta('Invalid NZB file %s, skipping (reason=%s, line=%s)'),
                                    filename, err.getMessage(), err.getLineNumber())
                    sabnzbd.backup_nzb(filename, nzb)
                    sabnzbd.save_compressed(adir, filename, nzb)
            except Exception, err:
                self.incomplete = True
                logging.warning(Ta('Invalid NZB file %s, skipping (reason=%s, line=%s)'), filename, err, 0)

            if self.incomplete:
After starting sab and adding a nzb link he saved me the potential corrupted file and after opening the nzb there is indeed a corruption. Have a look:

Code: Select all

336a
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE nzb PUBLIC "-//newzBin//DTD NZB 1.0//EN" "http://www.newzbin.com/DTD/nzb/nzb-1.0.dtd">
<nzb xmlns="http://www.newzbin.com/DTD/2003/nzb">
<file poster=""VVsLvoRpkB" <EzwimGnNOw7U@fDm0Kr9.zSW>" date="1418070873" subject=""CcRRV0fiwKVp3heM9ttsPYvub.par2" yEnc (1/1)">
336a should not be there.

Where does it come from?

Remeber. Downloading a file directly from nzbclub or other search sites works well.

Okay, today i tried it again.

some links downloads correctly and some have a number at the first line (807 and 878) this time. It does not depend on the session sabnzbd works.
