Chrome crashing on sab start and/or "Show Interface"

Hey all.

Been having an issue for a week or so with Chrome crashing when I start sabnzb. Well it doesn't crash immediately, it crashes when it opens a new tab where I have to agree to proceed past the certificate warning to get to the main sab screen.

Sometimes it crashes directly when the tab opens, sometimes it waits until I try to proceed past the warning, and sometimes it works just fine and gets me to sab without issue. Sab itself doesn't crash, and downloads are working fine but I often can't go check progress. Seems to be getting worse as I haven't been able to access the interface at all the last few days.

Any ideas? Been using sab for years without issue.

sab is up to date, chrome is Version 39.0.2171.71 m

Report it on a Chrome forum https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!forum/chrome ; Chrome should never crash.

FWIW: I use Chrome 39.0.2171.65 and have no problems.

It actually hasn't happened since I posted here about it... sort of like how you bring your car into the mechanic with a weird noise and it stops making it as you pull in. I'll see if I'm still able to reproduce it.
