I have a windows 7 guest VM running on a WHS 2011 host. I have installed sabnzbd v 0.7.20 as a service in the guest VM. I have shared folders from the host into the VM which I want to use as Temporary Download Folder, Completed Download Folder and the Watched Folder in sabnzbd. The shares are mapped to drive letters in the virtualbox manager & set to full control. When I try to navigate with the browse button in User Folders config page of sabnzbd I can only see the C: drive. If I use the \\VBOXSVR UNC path I can navigate to the required folders & select them, but when I save and return to the page, the folder entries have reverted to defaults. I have tried manually editing C:\Program Files\SABnzbd\sabnzbd.ini but when I restart sabnzbd the values I added are overwritten with the defaults & I cannot select the required folders.
From other similar posts I assume that the sabnzb folders can be on a different machine, but I just can't get it stick.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Re: Sabnzbd running in Virtualbox on WHS 2011
You must use a mounted drive letter for the temporary download folder.
The par2 repair software does not support UNC paths.
The final destination folder can be a UNC path.
