Set up on AT&T service and Mac OS

Post by denmotherninja »

I am a new user to SabNZBD and look forward to using it when I get this figured out. I downloaded this application and set up my account while I was away from home. I had an experienced user help me and I was able to open the program no problem. However, using the same computer I came home and went to turn it on and use it for the first time and it's not working.

When I open the application...
Before-I would see a notification that it started and a safari window would open with queue info, etc.
Now-It takes a second and a blank tab will open in safari and a notification will show that the application is "shutting down".

Computer: late 09 Macbook pro, OS 10.10 Yosemite.

Internet: AT&T Gigapower, I understand they have firewalls built in, but I'm not sure if they would even effect this app.
Router Manufacturer: Motorola
Router Model Number: NVG589

Since the computer hasn't changed and only the location I believe it has something to do with my home network or routers, etc. When it comes to configuring new applications or changing settings on my router/wireless management I can follow directions, but at a certain point it's gibberish....HELP!

Open Programs->Utilities->Terminal
Then type:
/Applications/SABnzbd.app/Contents/MacOS/SABnzbd --server 127.0.0.1:8080
Enter
