I have recently changed my ISP and since doing so Sabnzbd has become unusable (download speeds dropped through the floor).
I previously used spark telecom nz but am now with slingshot nz.
Have tried various pc's and tried reinstalling with no effect.
SAB works fine when i reconnect with spark telecom on a friends line just wont work for me on slingshot.
Other than Sbnzbd the internet connection is excellent.
Must be a modem /router setting which technical support at slingshot cant help me with.
Any help would be appreciated.

Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.
We will probably ask you to do a test using only basic settings. - Do you experience problems during repair or unpacking?
Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.

Could also be traffic shaping or throttling from your ISP for what that's worth. Make sure you're using SSL and try different ports if your provider supports them.

All sorted.
Switched on ssl which spark never supported and changed port no. and server name and all works fine now.
