Whenever I change the category on a particular download (on the SABnzbd web gui), SABnzbd ignores my selection and just processes the default. I believe I have my categories set up correctly, I just can't make SABnzbd use them. (I have successfully used categories before on a previous installation of SABnzbd, but my current setup just ignores categories for some reason.)
Any ideas?

Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.
We will probably ask you to do a test using only basic settings. - Do you experience problems during repair or unpacking?
Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.

Clear your browser cache.

Thanks - looked liked I *did* have my settings wrong. After much futzing I worked it out
