Preventing sleep during download/repair

Post by shaunj66 »

My system (lubuntu 14.4 lts) seems to fall asleep while SAB is downloading/repairing. Although I DO want my system to sleep after 20 mins idle time, I don't want this to happen while SAB is doing things. I'm using the xfce4 power manager it it makes a difference. Any ideas? Thanks!

On Windows and OSX we tell the OS to remain awake.
I'm not aware of generic mechanisms for this on Linux/Unix systems.
