failed script?

Here is the scenario using couch, sick, headphones
same principle for all
Couch grabs a nzb from site
Sends it to sab
for what ever reason sab can't download, process it resulting in a failed download
Now unless I set something up wrong couch doesn't realize it has failed the download
So possibly a failed script option so sab can tell couch the download has failed and couch can begin looking again, or even switch to torrents

I realize couch must have this option in there end

With a failed script we could possibly have it do other things, like email, send text.

SABnzbd already passes the status code on to the script.
At least when you disable the option "Process only verified jobs" in Config->Switches.

Are you asking for a specific script that runs when a job has failed, regardless of whether or not post processing was attempted?
