Watched folder & notification center not working

Hi all,

I've been grappling with two issues for weeks now and would really appreciate any help.

1) Watched folder suddenly stopped working. It no longer picks up nzb files. Clicking on "scan watched folder" in the pull-down menu from the top right on the main page didn't do anything either. The files are not corrupt because they work fine when opened manually. I tried reinstalling SABnzbd clean and it's still the same.

2) I no longer get notifications in Notification Center. That particular checkbox is grayed out in the "Notifications" settings in SABnzbd. The app isn't on the list in "Notifications" in OSX System Preferences either.

I'm on Mavericks and using the latest version of SABnzbd. Any idea please?

1) Try one of these:
a) Check the access rights of the folder.
b) Try a different folder.
c) Stop SABnzbd and remove the file ~/Library/Application Support/SABnzbd/admin/watched_data.sab
(Where ~ is your home folder)

2) Known issue in 0.7.18
Will be fixed in the next release

Turns out it was a zip file that I had in the same folder that somehow screwed it up. I took it out of the folder and everything returns back to normal.

That's odd. SABnzbd is supposed to see that the ZIP file sucks and then ignore it.
Possibly the ZIP support code gets tied up in the file and never gets out.
