Downloads start, then fail at the very end

I keep trying to download things, and getting 95% of the way done (according to the progress bar), but then it fails with the message "Download failed - Out of your server's retention?"

I'm using Giganews (2500+ day retention?), and these are recent (~1 year old) NZBs. They are also pretty obscure old audio files that I would be surprised if they have been hit by DMCA takedowns.

Any ideas?

Try other software to check (Grabit).
Try another Usenet provider.
The first one is the simplest.

BTW: do not set a retention time in Config->Servers if you have just one server.
