Perhaps this is a common problem. A movie is selected in CouchPotato, and the nzb file is passed to sabnzbd for downloading, only the download fails for one reason or another. Is there a way for sabnzbd to tell couchpotato that the download failed and it should look for another nzb file for that particular movie?

As far as I know, CouchPotato can use SABnzbd's API interface.
But you have to setup CP to do that.
