Due to a power outage over the weekend my laptop shutdown unexpectedly. Since restarting Sab crashes upon startup. I have checked the ini file for errors, completed a system restore, uninstalled and re-installed Sab but nothing seems to make a difference. Unfortunately due to the fresh install I have no log files available and the AppData folder for Sab no longer exists as I can't even get to the Wizard Setup. However, I do have the information from the Windows Event Viewer:

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

Re: SAB crashes on startup [Windows 8.1] [SABnzbd-0.7.17]
I have no Windows, but I would do this:
Open a "CMD" box (the black dos box), CD to the directory containing sabnzbd.exe (c:\program files*\sabnzbd\/) and start sabnzbd-console.exe (NOT sabnzbd.exe).
If it crashes, copy-paste all text into this thread.
