Problems playing KTR files & Application Trojans

Hi, hope you can help.
Previously downloaded successfully MP4-KTR files which were converted perfectly into MP4 files by your system. Recently they are converted into Applications/.exe files which appear to have either Trojans or either don't run or try to change registry settings.
Just wondering why I am getting fewer MP4 file downloaded/converted and more applications - which I cannot run.

exe files when do you don't expect them? That's a virus. See http://forums.sabnzbd.org/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=17337
