Sabnzbd automatically combining video files

Hi there,

As of the past 3 months after i did an upgrade of sabnzbd I started to notice that when i'm downloading a single nzb that has multiple episodes of an anime i'm downloading the file will download without issues and it says it has been successfully downloaded and processed. When I go to check the downloaded files in the folder it creates, I notice that it has less files than the amount of episodes I selected, It could sometimes be 2 files when I selected 6 or even 10 files when I selected 12. I'll look at the filesize of all the files and I'll notice that one of the files is much bigger than the file size it's supposed to be so it looks like however it's being extracted it's combining multiple episodes into one file. So it would say "yadda episode 2" but it has the file size of 3-4 episodes in 1 giant file but if I playback the file it will play back just "yadda episode 2" like normal and it would be a normal 20 minute episode despite being triple the normal size. To resolve this issue I have to pretty much download each file indivudually so I don't risk having it happen and have to redownload the files again. A small inconvenience but still shouldn't happen. I just noticed this error on each of the times it happens in sab "2014-05-24 17:42:13,424::ERROR::[newsunpack:378] Error "Incomplete sequence of joinable files" while running file_join on FFF_Noragami_-"

I find your post a bit hard to follow.
Are there files that shouldn't be joined, but SABnzbd tries anyway.
It uses a specific file naming convention for this.
Joining is not often needed.
You can choose to disable the "joining" feature in Config->Switches.

Sorry about that, let me break it down like this
1. I search for "fff noragami" and I get 50 results
2. I select "episode 1(300mb), episode 2(300mb), episode 3(300mb), episode 4(300mb), episode 5(300mb), episode 6(300mb), episode 7(300mb)" then I hit "get nzb" so it generates a single nzb file that will download the 4 episodes.
3. It downloads through sabnzbd and it looks like it processed ok until I hover over the icon to get the error message
4. I look at the completed download folder and I see the following files "episode 1, episode 2, episode 6". Episode 1 is 300MB, Episode 2 is 300MB, Episode 6 is 1.5gigabytes.
5. It looks like it joined the missing episodes into Episode 6 due to the large file size.
6. I play episode 6 despite it being 1.5gigabyte. What it plays back is the regular episode 6 despite it being 1.5 gigabytes.

I found the problem.
Due to a bug, SABnzbd doesn't properly support joining of multiple sets within one NZB.
Fortunately it's easy to fix and it will be in the next release.
