URL link to NZB search provide doesn't add NZBs consistently

Hi i have searched the forum for this issue but couldn't find any reference to it.

Hopefully I've provided the correct information below

Version: 0.7.16
OS: Running on a Synology 1513+ NAS - DSM 4.3-3827
Install-type: via SynoCommunity
Skin (if applicable): Plush
Firewall Software: Antivirus Essential included in Synology package
Are you using IPV6? : don't know
Is the issue reproducible? yes

Issue: I am having issues in consistently adding NZB URLs from Sickbeard when URL is passed to SABNZBD

Process:
1. I click "wanted" in sickbeard for the backlogged TV show
2. SABnZBD shows: Trying to fetch NZB from http://www.nzbndx.com/getnzb/79b1f137ec ... XXXXXXXXXX (the api is correct just blanked out)
3. Warning then shows: 2014-03-12 12:28:43,672 WARNING: Invalid NZB file Community.S04E12.720p.WEB-DL.DD5.1.H.264-BS.nzb, skipping (reason=syntax error, line=1)
4. This doesn't happen for all NZBs, some downloads are ok and can access the URL fine and some downloads always replicate this particular issue
5. However when I manually download the NZBs for then add it, the download starts perfectly everytime so the NZB file doesn't appear to be the issue

Also note that I have a paid account with nzbndx which entitles me to alot of downloads.

Please let me know if you have encountered this issue before and how I can resolve it.

Enter the URL into a web browser a few times, see what happens.

Hi Shypike,

The URL is good. Whenever I enter it in the NZB downloads to my pc. When i manually upload this to SAB it starts downloading.

This inconsistent SAB download doesn't happen with every URL. Probably 50% do this. But when URL is entered into browser, good NZBs are always downloaded.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling SAB the issue still reoccurs

It's possible that the server has intermittent problems.
SABnzbd does not have specific support for this site.
The problem is that each site has its own methods for reporting problems.
Often they just send back an html page instead of an NZB.
Somewhere hidden there's some info about what is going on.

I have the same problem, I have tried other search providers still the same issue I have looked at proxy server/firewall/antivirus, I have disabled all and still I have the same problem on a FreeBSD PC. I have loaded ver 7.17 on to a windows 8.1 PC and still have that problem. I am now suspecting my ISP has something to do with it but really does not have enough knowledge to do more debugging.

Did you resolved yours yet?

The ISP is not the most likely suspect here.
Yes they can throttle actual Usenet downloads, but it's unlikely that they block indexers.
It's much more likely that the site is not compatible with SABnzbd.
Which indexer are you using?

Where do the links actually come from? RSS feeds?
Are you sure that the URLs contain authentication info?
Pasting the URL into a browsers says little, because you're already logged in to the site with that browser.
