Server 2008 R2 and Email Notifications

Post by vinny03 »

I have searched high and low for answers to this issue I'm having with SABnzbd and Win Server 2008 R2 with email notification.

I enter in the information needed for the smtp server, username and passwords. Click the "Test Email" Button and I get a check with "Email Sent" behind it. Then click "Save Changes". Go to my email and check it... nothing there and then I go back to the configuration page of SABnzbd and now the information I entered in previously is all gone. Go to the logs and it says email was sent but never received the test email.

Am I missing something or is Windows server blocking SMTP traffic. I turned off the firewall and tried again..... same results!! There is no anti-virus suite currently running on the machine.

Configuration:
Windows Server 2008 R2
SABnzbd 0.7.16
Sickbeard 503

Thanks in advance!!
