Hopefully someone can help. I installed sabnzbd completely new as I just installed a new hard drive along with two storage drives. I wanted to set it up so that everything downloads in the incomplete folder, then unpacks to my storage drive without a job folder. My incomplete folder is on the C: drive while the folder it unpacks to is labeled E:\TV. If I leave it without an asterisk on the categories page it will unpack fine without any crc error, but it makes a job folder. If I put an asterisk under Folder/Path it will give me a crc error and the following warning ERROR:: CRC failed in "*********************". Thats not even what I am downloading so I have no idea why it would show up on a fresh install. It will unpack the file I download and place it in E:\TV just fine, but I do not understand why it continually shows CRC errors only if I have an asterisk involved. Any thoughts?
EDIT: I'm assuming that I edited what was the problem initially? That being said, for any of you who saw it I wasn't downloading that, nor have I ever downloaded it so I don't know why it showed up.

It may be that SABnzbd picks up stray RAR files in your e:\tv folder.
Can you try again with Config->Special->enable_recursive set to 0 ?

Re: Using an Asterisk Causes CRC errors
Thanks shypike that worked. I don't know why since I dont have any rar files in e:\tv but it worked lol. Just to be clear the initial thing that is now in astericks I never downloaded so that seems like a strange error in the first place. Everything is a clean install.
Re: Using an Asterisk Causes CRC errors
It is possible that the bad RAR is simply coming from the download.
(Maybe because the indexer picked up a stray file and added it to the NZB.)
Normally SABnzbd will try to unpack everything it sees in the unpack folder recursively.
The option prevents this.
